Organic Growers School offers this series of forest farm tours and workshops in partnership with the Appalachian Beginning Forest Farmer Coalition (ABFFC).
PLANTING & PROPAGATION OF FOREST FARMED BOTANICALS
This class is hosted by Organic Growers School, on our farm in Candler, NC. 1-5pm
Once you register, you will receive specific farm tour information and directions before the event. You may register for individual events or all three for a discounted price – the discounted event bundle is linked on the ABFFC page.
These tours will be on farms and include walking in hilly and forested areas. Please let us know if you have any specific needs or accommodations in this regard.

Peaceful and privacy await you on our farm, pasture and woods, this working herb farm is a haven for rest and exploring. Our land was originally where the Cherokee grew their medicine. Our farm is USDA Organic and we minimize the amount of chemicals used on it out of respect to the land. Situated 20 minutes from Asheville and 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, we are close to civilization and far from the everyday hustle and bustle. This is a great place to unwind in nature. The frogs eat most of the mosquitos and the fireflies will provide the nightly entertainment.
